National research, as well as powerful examples from across Tennessee, has shown that linking people to available resources and cultivating their educational aspirations are critical to increasing college success and retention. It is not just about test scores; and it is not just about scholarships. This may seem obvious, but in practice this sort of holistic support is far from the norm for too many Tennesseans.
